Here are painting we made over the past few weeks at our easel. We read The Dot by Peter Reynolds and made our marks!!! I included a YouTube reading of the book for reference as well. Past that are pictures from the week and a couple of videos that we used as a transition/movement break as well. Enjoy!!! Here is a picture of our completed Class Charter. We do frequent Charter Check-ins to ensure we are all working to help K-4 feel the way we want to feel while in school. I'll share updates as it changes throughout the year. I also included digital copies of our sharing schedule and the note about our Expanding Expression Tool. See below for pictures and more too! Here are several pictures from our week together. The first video was a fun 'lion hunt' from our Ll Day activities. We try to read a PebbleGo! for non-fiction learning, as well as sing and dance to song fun animal songs. The second video is a wordless book - we 'read' it and told the story together earlier this week.
The first video is the slideshow from our Open House. Here are various pictures from our week together. The next is about Mat Man...a drawing and handwriting 'tool'. The last video is from our Second Step program, when we practice our learning skills together.
Here are pictures from the week. I try to capture a little bit of everything. I hope this gives you a little insight to our busy days, as well as spark some conversations at home. I also included the Storybots Letter A video. As we begin our A to Z Art Centers, learn about various animals, read letters in different fonts, and much more...we watch the letter video to begin our day. Finally, I included an online version of a bucket filling book we read and wrote about this week. You will learn more about being bucket fillers at our Open House next week. Here is our newsletter (a hard copy came home today) and a few pictures to help get some conversations started! We had a great first couple of days...filled with many activities. I also included a couple of videos below. We use songs, movements, and music as breaks and transitions between activities throughout the school day. |
